I just got an email from Dunkin Donuts that today is National Iced Tea Day. I happen to love ice tea especially tea with lemonade (Arnold Palmer) & cranberry juice & iced tea called a Boston iced tea from Red Lobster. Still, the best deal that you can get on a large iced tea is from the $1 menu at McDonalds. I also run into some of the Carl's Jr's in the city & they have .69 cent large drinks. 

For all you non-coffee drinkers like me, have an iced tea today & chill from the Summer heat!

The month of June can signify different things to different people. School children think of it as the beginning of summer vacation, young girls are reminded of the march of the June brides, but when I think of June, I think of the only time of year to purchase the Eegee coupon card! 

If you don't live in Tucson, you probably do not understand the craze of the Eegee shaved ice drink that quenches the thirst of those that live in the desert. Did Someone Say Sonics???

As I drove down Valencia road headed towards home today a sign to my right suddenly caught my attention. Specialty hot dogs for .99! I immediately made a u-turn at the first possible designated place despite my tiredness from work. 

Sonics has always been know for its happy hour & half off specialty drinks but now they have a better selection of food & desserts. Everyday now they have a new promotion which includes half off burgers on Tuesday & .99 mozzarella sticks on Saturdays & this is an All day thing! I'm not sure how long this will last but if you are hungry, it's a yummy meal. 

Let it never been said that I was ever one to pass on up a great deal!

Zenni Optical: A Smarter Way to Look at the World

A couple of years ago I was forced to renew my prescription for my glasses. I went down to Walmart because I heard they had great deals on frames and ended up paying over $130 for a stylish thick black pair. I was a little upset when my good friend from Indiana informed me on my visit with her one May, that there was a website that sold glasses for under $10 and they would ship them right to your door. I was completely Flabbergasted when I went onto their website and found out how cute their glasses really were! The Entertainment Book: Worth it's weight in Gold!

I am sure you have had someone hit you up at some point to buy one of those Entertainment books to help them raise money for their worthy cause. I personally have been way too cheap to ever buy one from somebody. It wasn't until I saw an advertisement before the New Year in my coupon section of the newspaper that I decided to buy one. They were having a special for $19.99 and that was including tax, shipping & handling directly in my mail. I was sold when I realized these books are usually $35. After receiving my Entertainment book I found so many buy 1, get one free offers on things like personal pan pizzas from Pizza Hut  and entrees at some of my favorite restaurants like La Parrilla Suiza. There are also buy 1, get one free attractions like old tucson studios admission & the botanical garden. 

I just got something else in the mail that really made my day & that was a deal for a second Entertainment boom for only $5!! 

I couldn't list all of the amazing deals that you could find in this book so you will just have to believe me!

The world is filled with crazy coffee caffeine addicts who need their energy just to get through the day. I am not one of those people. I love the smell of coffee but can't deal with the jittery feeling I get after I drink it. I am a tea person and whether that is any better for you than coffee is completely up for argument. Anywho.... Starbucks has my favorite Black shaken iced tea lemonade unsweetened. I usually order the trienta size and keep the plastic cup & green straw and make my own tea when I am at home & pour it in there. 

The awesome thing about Starbucks is that when you register a gift card and continue to add money to it through out the year, you can rack up points on every purchase. After 12 purchases you can get a free drink or food item of your choice. They will also send you a coupon in the mail for a free item on your birthday as well if you register. After 30 purchases they send you this awesome personalized gold card to honor you Starbucks craziness! There is also a Starbucks app that you can download on your phone that you can instantly add funds too and swipe at the register instead of your card. 

So to all of you Starbucks fans who have not registered your card yet, what are you waiting for? Get that gift card out of your wallet that your BFF gave you for your birthday & register online.
